How Far You've Come

Well, I promised I'd colour this, and so I have. I ended up chopping it down a lot, but I think it works better that way.

I love Gol, not so much the reflection of his younger self. The stones are also on my win list, but I hate the mirror itself. God I need to learn how to make a reflection effect properly.

I think I explained what this pic was all about when I uploaded the lineart, but in case you can't be bothered to look, or I didn't explain...

In my fanon, Gol was set to degrade from birth, seeing as his mother was suffering from Dark Eco poisoning during the pregnancy - though nobody knew - and the only reason Gol wasn't stillborn was because he inherited his father's Universal Eco powers.

Anyway, his degradation started when he was about twelve, when he accidentally infected Maia, giving her Dark Eco poisoning - which in turn would begin her degradation in time, thanks to residual Eco staying in her system - and he looked in the mirror one last time before running away from home, in order to keep his family safe. Years later, he looks again.
